Dub Spencer & Trance Hill once again realize their musical vision with their new
release SYNCHRONOS: The perfect hybrid of dub and trance – analog, danceable and
at the forefront of sound technology.
With SYNCHRONOS, Dub Spencer & Trance Hill present an album that defies conventional categories. The new tracks surprise and guide the listener into a colorful world of sound – an acoustic kaleidoscope in which diversity becomes a principle. Musical
components – dub, trance, dance, techno, rock, jazz – are put together by the musicians in new and unexpected ways. Experimental, multi-layered and always good for surprises, yet inevitably club-ready: That’s Dub Spencer & Trance Hill.
In contrast to the digital ethno, downtempo and trance scene, the four Swiss musicians rely
exclusively on analog instruments: drums, bass, guitar, keyboards – refined with numerous
dub effects and sound gimmicks. Thus SYNCHRONOS was entirely recorded live in the
studio without the use of computer-controlled backing tracks or loops. Stylistically, Dub
Spencer & Trance Hill continue undeterred on the path they took with their previous album
“Imago Cells”: Leaving classic song structures more and more behind, they focus on catchy,
hypnotically repetitive grooves, once again emphasizing the trance element in their music.
Is this how danceable soundtracks for the head cinema are created? For sure! After all, it’s
ultimately about letting go, about being seduced and carried away: for one track, for one
album, for one concert. Getting out of everyday life, having fun, dancing the night away –
that’s SYNCHRONOS.
SYNCHRONOS will also be released as a Dolby Atmos mix (3D audio) for
audiophiles.
Dub Spencer & Trance Hill present SYNCHRONOS 2025/26 on an extensive club tour.
Sound wizard and Dubmaster Umberto Echo will be joining them once again, mixing the
concerts live in surround sound. Expect the energetic performance by Dub Spencer & Trance
Hill to be expanded by a new sound dimension that guarantees a spectacular listening
experience – “wow effect” included.

Echo Beach – the independent label based in Hamburg, Germany that has been shaping the world of dub and reggae since its inception in 1997. Our focus is on the production of dub and reggae music, concentrating specifically on the bass, downbeat and reggaetone subgenres. Since our beginnings, we have also been active as a publisher and have made a name for ourselves as the discoverer of the extremely well-known band SEEED from Berlin.
One of our specialties is the production of cover versions in dub style, where we reinterpret well-known pop songs in our unique sound. Our many years of experience and passion for music have made us pioneers in this field. Echo Beach stands for creative reinterpretations and high-quality productions that inspire audiences worldwide.
