The Ramones played their first gig on the 16th of August at CBGB´s in NEW YORK in 1974 – 50 years later the DUBMONES are going to release the second single out of the album DUBMONES – Ramones In Dub.

DUBMONES producer André Meyer (production, bass) and Manougazou (production, guitar) were happy after the release their first single “Blitzkrieg Bop” in April 2024.  Now we come to the real deal and the second official single release of the album: PET SEMATARY as a 7” Cut inna DUB SANCTUARY vibe plus the dub. The following feature artists are inna sanctuary

 

British singer Shniece is at home in all styles between reggae and street soul and has recorded versions of Kraftwerk’s “Das Model” and Janis Joplin’s “Mercedes Benz” with Prince Fatty and Horseman, among others.

 

After decades in the background, Horseman has recently stepped into the limelight as a vocalist. Following a series of singles in collaboration with Prince Fatty and Holly Cook on Mr Bongo, his album “Dawn of the Dread” was released there in 2014. With the Dubmones, he also plays drums and percussion on the songs “Pinhead” and “I Wanna Be Sedated”.
